We are seeking a hardworking and innovative Analytics Engineer to join our global security team. You will be a key member in shaping and implementing Zendesk’s Security data strategy and roadmap. You will be partnering with stakeholders to build out an analytics platform that enables teams to understand and improve the risk posture of Zendesk. The products and tooling you build will be used by business counterparts, engineers, analysts, and leaders across the company.
What you’ll be doing
Extend and maintain data pipeline architecture, data store, and data models.
Build reporting dashboards that allow for stakeholders to self service security data and metrics.
Be responsible for the full release cycle from development to deployment including conception, design, implementation, testing, rollout.
Lead technical discussions and communicate your ideas and vision to others.
Work across a broad range of technologies including AWS cloud services and Google Cloud Platform.
Help shape, refine, and document the processes that support security data curation, ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery
What you bring to the role
Track record of solving sophisticated problems while navigating ambiguity.
Experience developing data models that meet business requirements.
Experience building, monitoring, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
Experience analyzing data to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
Experience building and maintaining dashboards, utilizing multiple BI tools.
Expert knowledge of Python and SQL.
Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
Interest in growing your security knowledge.
Experience on a small, lean data team. Preferably global.
Knowledge of data governance framework and software engineering best practices.
Champion of data documentation.
Our code is written in Python and SQL.
Our cloud tools include AWSAthena, StepFunctions, EMR and SageMaker.
Data is stored in RDS for MySQL, AWS S3, various security tools.
The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł138,000.00-zł208,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.
