The Business Analytics team is looking for a skilled and experienced individual to take on an exciting new leadership role within the Business Analytics team. As Lead Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of data to drive decision-making and business growth.
You will lead the data support side of business analytics. You will be responsible for and manage the data request board, the business-wide data processes and the Tableau approval process. You will set the benchmark for our business-wide data reporting. You will line-manage the team members as well as work closely with the cross-functional team across the business to push data-driven decision-making across the business.
The long-term vision of the Business Analytics team and this role is to create world-class data reporting provision. Have both short-term and long-term impacts on the business by being instrumental in key business decisions through data input and analysis. Lead the business into new Analytics tools and concepts and elevate the business to a higher standard of Data Literacy.
To succeed in the role, you will:
- Excel at data reporting incl high level of SQL and Tableau
- Prioritise workload effectively
- Manage systems, processes and people
- Have fantastic stakeholder management
- Be able to balance managerial responsibilities with day-to-day analysis work

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Put your stamp on how business analytics looks at Twinkl
Compose complex queries; pulling the information you need from our huge data sets (the biggest of which has more than a trillion data points!)
Build world-class data visualisations that not only provide clear data reporting but also inspire new high-impact projects at Twinkl
Work closely with senior leaders, experienced data scientists and a range of others across all levels of the organisation; partnering with them to deliver concrete results on a data-led project.

Requirements

- A degree in a STEM field
- 2+ years employed in a data- related role
- Has experience with data reporting
- Experience managing people
