The team
A career in the Data and Artificial Intelligence Lab (DAIL) within Technology Consulting will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics.
We focus on a collection of organisational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance that help our clients drive innovation, growth, and change within their organisations in order to keep up with the changing nature of customers and technology. We make impactful decisions by mixing mind and machine to leverage data, understand and navigate risk, and help our clients gain a competitive edge.
Main responsibilities
We are looking for highly motivated newly graduates or young professionals that are eager to develop their competences in the field of Applied Data Science and AI. As a member of our data and AI experts team you will have a unique opportunity to develop your skills in solving business problems for a variety of industries (including local clients, public sector and EU institutions). The main responsibilities of the successful candidate include the following:
■ Data collection, preparation and analysis to gain valuable insights and present results to non-technical users
■ Application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to gain valuable insights from text data
■ Training and evaluating traditional Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, ranging from decision-trees and SVMs to LLMs
■ Staying informed and up to date with the latest technological advancements in the area of Artificial Intelligence / Generative AI and their practical applications
■ Code development for data analysis, machine learning and applications
What we are looking for
■ Newly graduate or a young professional with up to 3 years of experience in any relevant industry, with exposure or keen interest in the areas of data science and artificial intelligence
■ University degree in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, economics, physics or in any related field
■ Knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language, (preferably data science related - Python or R)
■ Exposure with analysis of large data sets and good knowledge of machine learning algorithms and logic
■ Knowledge of any of the following will be considered an advantage:
- NLP tools and methodologies
- Effective visualisation techniques and tools such as Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI
- No-code and low-code tools (such as Power Apps, DAX)
- Cloud ecosystems
■ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
■ Ability to communicate technical terms in a commercialised language
■ Good analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
■ Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
