Currently, we are seeking skilled Android Developers for our client - a property management software provider

Timezone:** full overlap with the team in India (India Standard Time) + a standup with the team lead at 9 a.m. MT.
Rate: up to $45/hour

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Android development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and relevant tools and libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Dagger, Room).
  • In-depth experience with Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, custom UI components and unit testing.
  • Extensive experience with advanced Android features: at least 1.5 years of experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform, or custom UI/UX solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Android UI/UX principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of Android development tools, libraries, and frameworks. Proficiency in architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVP. Strong experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and architectures is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
