What will you be doing?
InMobi is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Product Data Science Manager for People Analytics to lead our data analytics efforts in the realm of people analytics. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, enabling our organization to unlock the full potential of our workforce. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data science, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP). They will play a crucial role in envisioning, ideating, and guiding the team in building innovative people analytics products and solutions.
• Leadership and Strategy: Envision and articulate a data strategy for people analytics that aligns with organizational goals. Provide guidance and leadership to a team of data scientists to execute on this strategy.
• Product Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of data-driven products and solutions in the field of people analytics.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to derive actionable insights from HR and employee data. Use these insights to drive improvements in talent acquisition, retention, performance, and overall workforce productivity.
• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and effective collaboration with key stakeholders such as HR Business Partners (HRBPs), the Talent Acquisition (TA) Team, Learning and Development (L&D) Team, Leadership, and other relevant departments and teams.
• Mentoring and Development: Mentor and coach people analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data science and apply them to the realm of people analytics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and NLP
• Proven experience in leading and managing an analytics team.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills and a track record of delivering data solutions on time and within scope.
• Experience in HR or people analytics is a plus
