Job Description
Your new role and how you’ll make a difference
The key focus of this role is maintenance of data quality and integrity of consumer and commercial data assets across Australia and New Zealand.
This role takes a lead in ensuring all consumer data processes are working effectively and efficiently, whilst supporting release schedules, statistical reporting, liaising with the data management team and external clients, and leading relationships with existing and prospective external data suppliers related to consumer data.
The value-add things you’ll be doing
- Lead identification and resolution of systemic issues in data quality and processes (manually), and establish automated data monitoring for AU and NZ to highlight any data issues that need to be addressed
- Lead the preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT) in support of I.T Release Schedule to ensure that business requirements are delivered in line with client expectations
- Lead periodic statistical reports and analysis to internal clients
- Lead initiatives and/or develop robust business cases to improve database quality, coverage and match rate performance.
- Lead the development of an end-to-end consumer data procedures and quality manual, and to actively pursue and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency in process and data quality
- Act as a conduit between the business and the Information Technology and Operations teams on Product/Services trouble shooting and support, optimization, and development of existing and new market solutions.
- Develop strong supplier and internal customer relationships
- Actively participate, lead and support data quality projects (including audit) and tasks as directed by your leader
Qualifications
The experience and qualifications you’ll need to be successful
- Minimum 2 years experience in a data intense environment.
- Strong influencing and relationship skills with the ability to liaise and partner closely across suppliers and internal business unit heads
- Advanced Excel and SQL ability and strong reporting skills.
- Exceptional project management skills. Able to adapt and manage multiple projects and work under tight timelines
- Superb communication skills, thought leadership and self-starter
- Strong understanding of data and related system architecture.
