About this team:

The wider IT team provides a full suite of technology services to transform the way we work. We work in a high energy, fast-paced environment; each team member is committed to the growth and success of one another while taking on new challenge’s day to day. 

Your typical day will include:

In this role you will work collaboratively with our internal business stakeholders to deliver dashboards and reports that provide value and increase capability across business units. You will manage existing portfolios of SSRS and Power BI and ensure that they are continuously evolving to meet the business needs and be responsible for our change management policy and procedures.

More specifically, you’ll:

- Use DAX and SSAS Tabular to build and optimise multidimensional models

- Manage the existing portfolio of SSRS & Power BI reports and ensuring that it continuously evolving to meet business needs. 

- Provide support, advice and training to the Service Desk Team to resolve any Level 1 related issues 

- Work within project teams to understand future data, analytics and reporting requirements

- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

2+ years’ experience in a full-time reporting role, dealing with stakeholders and or with a project lifecycle

Have dealt with people and have experience resolving SQL/BI related problems

Microsoft qualifications are preferred but not essential in lieu of suitable experience

Great written and verbal communication skills

A strong work ethic and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment

Self-driven with a will to develop and grow with the role

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

You will need experience or be able to demonstrate all or some of the following technologies or concepts: 

Power BI

DAX

Microsoft SQL Server – Transactional SQL

SSRS, SSIS, SSAS

Data Warehousing Principles

Azure Monitor 

SQL PaaS technologies 

SQL Server Management Studio  

Azure DevOps or CI/CD Automation
