Positions Purpose:
The extension of the Business Intelligence service will further transform Pricing function to be more automation oriented. The addition to the team will allow us to devote leadership resources towards automation, visualization and advanced technical solutions to facilitate even better and effective pricing decision making and significantly reduce the amount of human effort on operational tasks. This role will support Actuaries, but Actuary experience is not required.
Summory Of The Role:
This role will take the ownership and manage execution on designing, developing, and supporting Business Intelligence solutions for the actuarial Pricing and Model Development teams.
The main responsibilities include:
Providing innovative business intelligence solutions to support the growth of CRBG IR annuity lines of business:
Designing and developing user-defined workflows to fully automate end-to-end modeling and reporting processes
Provide technical expertise to the development of tools and applications to support robust and flexible end-to-end processes
Utilizing industry best practices for data warehousing and visualization techniques to enable a tightly integrated and efficient modeling framework
Identifying emerging trends in business intelligence solutions to enable better pricing practices
Assisting with pricing technology strategy:
Investigate and recommend vendor applications for better model performance and automation
Provide support to the head of modeling on transformation initiative (platform, tools, data) by innovative and effective ideas and plans on significant changes to the end-to-end modeling environment
Systems Administration:
The actuarial grid computing environment
Version control systems
Documentation systems
Manage junior BI associate by providing guidance and assigning projects
Job Requirements
Demonstrated technology skills, including C++ and Excel / VBA.
Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server, distributed computing, Git / GitHub, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and / or Windows Workflow Foundation is a plus.
Experience with actuarial modeling software such as RiskAgility FM or Prophet is a plus.
Demonstrated interest in programming, technology, and business intelligence.
Demonstrated interest in professional / technical growth and learning.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Actuary experience is a plus, but not required.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
