How you’ll change it up
You’ll be a key person in our Data Enablement team, driving actionable insights and decision making through powerful data visualisation. Using your strong analytical skills, you’ll work with complex data sets and real scenarios to translate business needs to data modelling, IT, and visualisation requirements. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Acting as the point of contact to drive the change into IT needed by the team to deliver reporting and data products
- Providing a joined-up view of requirements, working closely with the BI Support Lead and Business Data Modellers
- Capturing requirements from the business side – digesting these and transforming them into clear objectives and deliverable pieces for IT
- Working with the Data Quality and Data Insight leadership teams to plan and manage workload
- Implementing continuous methodology to review and enhance existing systems and reports
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll already have some experience in business data analysis in a mixed business and IT facing role, with strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills. You’ll also bring the following:
- Ability to work well and adapt in an agile working environment
- Working knowledge of any of the following systems: Power Apps, Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Snowflake
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for documentation and service management
- Excellent problem-solving skills
