Job Description
The candidate will be working on experimental & data analytics (AI/ML) activities for the development of an intelligent anomaly detection concept for Residential Air Conditioners (RAC). Ensuring a smooth operation of RAC tests, data collection, analysis, and validation of concepts related to energy management or robustness related anomalies (refrigerant leakage, heat exchanger fouling, sensor faults) are the expectations and expected tasks are listed below:
- Conducting RAC tests in Robert Bosch SEA Corporate Research HVAC testbed/lab
- Physical simulation of anomaly cases on testbed, data acquisition, processing, storage and investigation
- Data post-processing, develop anomaly detection model, monitor model performance
- Execute and analyze experiment results with statistical tools to provide insights for further test and algorithm improvements related to predictive maintenance, waste of energy and robust operation of RACs
Qualifications
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months from Oct 2023 or as agreed
- Educational background in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experienced in statistical data analysis and ML/AI tools
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, thermal cycles, heat & mass transfer
- Knowledge of sensors, data acquisition, processing, and visualization
- Willing to perform hands-on experiments.
