Data Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an enterprise Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring data governance, data quality, and other critical functions. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis and visualization, as well as a passion for contributing to the success of our data management efforts. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data management requirements and support data governance initiatives. 

  • Assist in creating and maintaining data documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams. 

  • Develop and maintain data visualization solutions, including Tableau or Power BI to communicate data insights effectively. 

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and create data visualizations that support decision-making. 

  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed to support various business initiatives.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, including a role involving data governance and data quality
  • Experience with data analysis techniques, data profiling, and data cleansing processes
  • Experience in data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with data governance principles and practices and data quality frameworks, including DMBOK
  • Experience with SQL and data querying for data analysis purposes 
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or Business Analytics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
