AI Engineer, Senior
Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy, utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with company's strategies, business goals, and key ethical considerations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
6+ years of experience with a scripting or scientific language, including Python, R, C++, or Java
Experience working with Artificial Intelligence models and algorithms, including tools for developing the models and algorithms
Experience applying various machine learning techniques
Experience with a natural language processing topic, including tagging, syntactic parsing, word sense disambiguation, topic modeling, contextual text mining, or application of deep learning to NLP
Knowledge of the key parameters that affect the performance of machine learning techniques
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Experience with using statistical software applications, including SAS, R, MATLAB, SPSS, and Stata
Experience with developing statistical and simulation models
Master's degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar technical field preferred; Doctorate degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar technical field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
