Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Enterprise IT Operations is currently looking for a Experienced Virtual Agent (Chatbot) Developer to join their team in Bangalore, IND. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing IT Organization. A successful candidate will understand the importance of Virtual Agent / Conversational Interface (VA/CI) and practices to ensure its effectiveness. This person will also have a vision for the future to enable more self-service in the organization leveraging new capabilities.

Position Responsibilities**:**

  • The primary focus of this role is the development of the new VA/CI chatbot capability and the implementation of future enhancements.
  • Partner with VA/CI Product Manager to implement Virtual Agent / Conversational Interfaces (VA/CI)
  • Leverage Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to train the VA/CI system to understand the meaning of statements, phrases, and words to properly communicate with users.
  • Partner with VA/CI Product Team to design, develop, test, and implement the VA/CI chatbot functionality
  • Provide consultation and answer user and stakeholder inquires of VA/CI
  • Collaborate with VA/CI stakeholders to understand needs and design/configure the chatbot to address identified requirements.
  • Lead VA/CI process improvement activities to help mature the bot within Boeing
  • Assist with the launch of the ServiceNow Virtual Agent capability
  • Drive implementation of the virtual agent roadmap
  • Onboard new groups to the VA/CI bot
  • Stay current on new VA/CI trends in technology and community of practice

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Strong communication and writing skills in US English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • User-centric mindset
  • Problem solver and detail oriented
  • Strong experience with the ServiceNow platform, especially Virtual Agent / Conversational Interfaces and Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
  • 2+ Year experience managing virtual agent bots within enterprise IT
  • Working some hours in US (Central) Time zone will be required for team stand ups and collaboration
  • Experience in java and html scripting.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Additional experience with the ServiceNow platform in App Engine Studio (AES) (Citizen Developer (CD)) capabilities
  • Project or product management certification
  • IT Service Management and IT Operations Management process familiarity
  • Experience working in Agile development environment
  • 8+ Years’ experience working in a large IT environment
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
