As a Senior Data Scientist at BigPay, you'll play a key role where data is at the heart of our decision-making process. You will lead efforts in refining our finance reconciliation platform, spearhead innovative projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive insights and shape our product roadmap. This position offers the chance to play an instrumental role in a rapidly scaling fintech platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous enhancement and development of our reconciliation platform to support the finance department.

Oversee and implement advanced data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and actionable outcomes.

Apply advanced statistical techniques to extract insights from data.L

ead projects that enhance the BigPay and AirAsia ecosystem.


An applicant is expected to have…

At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred.

Minimum of 3 years professional experience in data science or related roles with experience in developing production systems.

Experience writing production code in Python and SQLProficiency with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn.

Proven leadership and teamwork skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels.

It’s also beneficial to have…

Experience with DBT and Google Cloud Platform (especially BigQuery)

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modelling, and data engineering best practices

Understanding of financial reconciliation and financial data management
