Role Overview:
Reporting to the head of Data Science, the Engineering Lead will work with other members of the Data team to build and maintain our Data Model and Data Warehouse solutions. The successful candidate will need to work independently, and should have a proven track record of being able to scope, plan and deliver technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain our ELT pipeline, data transformation tools, and reporting tools.
Assist in deploying and managing business dashboards.
Plan and implement projects that improve the reliability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness of our data pipeline.
Qualifications:
An applicant is expected to have…A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related fields
Minimum of 3 years professional experience with data engineering projects
Experience writing production code in Python and SQL
Experience with Linux and shell scripting
Proven leadership and teamwork skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication skills
