They are looking to add a Senior Data Manager to their team, who will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of data governance practices – improving the Bank’s ability to leverage its data as a strategic asset. Working closely with senior stakeholders, data stewards, and data & analytics colleagues, being the Bank’s Senior Data Manager offers a chance to shape the D&A landscape.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret complex data sets and present insights to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and maintain databases to manage large, complex data sets.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to implements data excellence.
- Provide technical expertise to clients in identifying and resolving data issues.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure accurate and consistent data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analysis.
This is a hybrid role based in St Pauls, London, requiring 3 days office attendance.
Requirements
8 years' experience in data governance and/or management
Experience of implementing Data Management best practices from scratch
Experience using Data Catalogue platforms like Alation
Experience of managing data change in a modernising business, preferably in financial services
Strong understanding of database design and architecture.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Able to communicate complex technical knowledge to any audience
