The RoleOur Data Analytics team is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer / Architect who will lead the design and development of a modern and scalable data platform that will support all enterprise analytical needs. You will be the first data engineer in the team and you will collaborate with Engineering, Product, BI / Analytics, Data Scientists and Business SMEs to architect data solutions on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain a modern and scalable data platform Define how data will be collected, stored, consumed and managedCollaborate with Engineering, Product, BI / Analytics, Data Scientists and Business SMEs to architect data solutions  Build data pipelines using Python / Fivetran / AirflowDevelop and manage ETL/ELT data processesDevelop Analytical models using DBTCreate models and datasets that will support enterprise reporting and analyticsIdentify and perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings and proposed solutions About you: 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / ArchitectExceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in designing and implementing a data platform in a cloud environment (GCP/AWS)Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses and data martsExperience in dimensional modeling (Star / Snowflake Schemas), designing Facts / Dimensions / Snapshots / AggregatesExperience in building data pipelines using Python, Fivetran, Airflow, Talend etc.Experience with programming languages such as Python and its usage for data processing, making API calls etc.Advanced SQL skills Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, TableauNice to have: Experience with data governance, master data managementNice to have: Experience with Husbpot / Segment / DBT / Kafka / ElasticSearch / GCP / GithubNice to have: Experience working with marketing and sales dataExperience working in a high growth startupHumble, hungry, and smart.
