The AI Research team at CallMiner is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with an emphasis on deploying Natural Language Processing models on speech data. Key responsibilities include: Work on data and business problems to drive improved business results through designing, building, and partnering to implement and deploy models. Use best practices to design prediction model frameworks that ingest data, run prediction models, and monitor model performance over time. Research language and tools from the latest industrial and academic sources that can improve efficiency or introduce new product to our clients. Collaborate with team members in research and other departments to improve the effectiveness of business decisions using data and machine learning/predictive modeling. Qualifications: Overall, we are looking for a candidate with experience moving ML & AI models to production software, with a background in written NLP. Two or more years of experience in deploying ML solutions for software products that moved through the product pipeline. Experience with model deployment and upscaling using Docker and Kubernetes. Coding fundamentals and background in python. Working knowledge of Ubuntu OS that’s related to model deployment using GPUs. Proficient in version control tools like Git or TFS. Preferred Qualifications: Strong desire to learn and grow in knowledge and expertise. Two or more years of experience working with written text and NLP approaches. Experience with new and traditional machine learning APIs and computational packages and tools (e.g. HuggingFace, TensorFlow, Keras, Torch, Scikit-Learn, Spacy, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, AWS/Azure) Experience with relational database such as Microsoft SQL Experience in using statistical modeling and/or machine learning techniques to build models that were used in a production environment.
